Rubber balloons, air, helium gas and time

Each piece is made out of two big rubber balloons (variable diameter). One filled with helium gas and the one filled with air. The two are tied together by their respective mouths. This condition allows them to float vertically through space in a balance of gravitational forces, alternating a movement of ascents, descents and unpredictable displacements. It also depends on temperature variation and other air movement in space. Photos by the installation  made at the exhibition “We make versions”, Westfälischer Kunstverein, Münster, Germany in 2011.
